What would it take for women to live lives free from violence?

It takes resolve for women to rebuild after violent relationships.

It takes resolve for communities to change how they frame
conversations around violence committed against women.

Resolve is an essential ingredient for people committed to change.

Sometimes all it takes is helping people to see what they haven't seen before. That's when they feel empowered to change their own lives and those around them. That's what we're about.

What is Domestic Violence Stinks?
October is domestic violence awareness month and RESOLVE is taking the issue to the community in a unique, non-threatening way with purple-painted wooden outhouses that declare “Domestic Violence Stinks”.

The campaign kicks off Oct. 1 and ends Oct 24.
Our fundraising goal is $25,000.

The RESOLVE outhouses will make appearances at shopping malls, sporting events, an array of businesses, and at events held on the campuses of SUNY Brockport, RIT, U of R,
St. John Fisher College, and MCC. They'll also be popping up in residential yards around the county.

Follow the campaign on Facebook, Twitter & Linked In, and share it with #HELPRESOLVE.
